Hung Hung, geboren 1964, ist Theaterdirektor, Filmemacher und schreibt Gedichte, Kurzgeschichten, Essays und Theaterkritiken. Sein literarisches Projekt »Lunch with strangers« wurde durch das Grenzgänger-Programm der Robert Bosch Stiftung und des LCB gefördert.

»The sunset lights up my heart«

What are you working on at the moment?
A poetry project entitled »Lunch with strangers«.

How does your stay in the Literary Colloquium Berlin affect you and your work?
It is the 2nd time I stay in LCB but first time with my wife and my 2 years old boy. LCB provides a paradise-like atmosphere for me and my family. My writing always starts when they sleep. The sunset in Wannsee still lights up my heart by then.

What experiences will you take home?
Berlin is a very inspiring city. Even when I spend time in playground with my child. Many parents I met there are foreigners. We exchange our ways of raising children. Another exciting event is Liu Xia arrived Berlin during my stay. The action German government took is so encouraging. Last time I went home with a theater play. This time will be a dozen of poems. I feel very happy.
