Mette Moestrup is a Danish poet, literary critic and feminist, born in 1969. Her latest book To the Most Beautiful. 117 poems was published in 2019. Her poetry is translated into Swedish, Norwegian, English, and German (Stirb, Lüge, stirb, kookbooks, 2017), and she has received the Montana Prize, the Aarestrup Medal, the Beatrize Prize, the Danish Arts Foundation’s Honour Award. In Germany, she received a grant from Stiftung Brandenburger Tor with residency at LCB in 2014, and in 2020 she contributed to various projects at Center for Literature, München. In addition to writing poetry, Moestrup works with translation, teaching, performance, as well as collective and cross-aesthetic projects. She lives in Copenhagen.
