Ngọc Minh Nguyên, also known as Nick M, is a writer, photojournalist and lecturer in film studies based in Hanoi, Vietnam. He was born in 1987, and has spent ten years working as a journalist and editor at VnExpress Daily News – the most read Vietnamese newspaper. In 2017, his book project “1987” – covering more than thirty stories on thirty individuals born in 1987 – was published by Youth Publishing House. It has become a best-seller with 14,000 copies sold. In the same year, Nick M was a jury member for a short stories anthology giving to German readers an impression of life in Vietnam today.

Er wurde 1987 geboren und arbeitet seit zehn Jahren als Journalist und Redakteur bei VnExpress – der meistgelesenen vietnamesischen Tageszeitung.
