She received the Guggenheim and Octavio Paz Foundation grants in poetry, the Siglo XXI International Essay Prize and two Municipal Awards in 2021 (for her poetry book Archivo Dickinson, and her essay book La noche tiene mil ojos). In addition, her book Iceland received, in its English version, the Best Book of Poetry in Translation Award of the year from the PEN American Center (New York, 2002). Her work has been translated into English, French, Italian, Swedish and Portuguese. She currently directs the Master’s Program in Creative Writing at UNTREF. Her latest novel, El corazón del daño, was published in 2021 by Penguin Random House.
