Berlin Residency for a Comic Artist from Lithuania

Call for Applications

In partnership with the Lithuanian Culture Institute, Literarisches Colloquium Berlin is inviting a Comic Artist from Lithuania who is seeking to work on a new personal project in the month of November 2026 in Berlin. We can offer accommodation in our villa in Berlin-Wannsee and support in arranging professional meetings, visits and public events. Moreover, we cover travel expenses and a fee of 1.200 €.

Comic Artists based in Lithuania or Lithuanian citizens living and working abroad with at least one publication can apply here (in English or German):

Please send us the pdf of your publication, a draft for a new project (5-10 pages), and your bio-bibliography with some sentences concerning your motivation (Why is Berlin the right place to develop your project?) by May 15, 2026.

At least three years of active participation in the Lithuanian literary scene are expected.
