Feby Indirani is an Indonesian author mainly focused on women and marginalized group issues. She introduced the term Magical Islamism with her short story collections, Not Virgin Mary and Chasing Muhammad, which received international recognition. She initiated a campaign called Relax It’s Just Religion to promote freedom of thought, conscience and religion through arts and activism. She was in Berlin for the Crossing Borders fellowship in 2022.

Mit ihren Kurzgeschichtensammlungen Not Virgin Mary und Chasing Muhammad, die internationale Anerkennung fanden, führte sie den Begriff des Magischen Islamismus ein.
